Study Support

Study Support is available to all of Hetton School student’s in the Library/ Learning Resource Centre.

They can catch up on coursework, complete homework or work with friends to revise and study.
Study Support staff are on hand to supervise students on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3.15pm-5pm.

Spring School
During February half term a group on Year 8 students produced a Teen Magazine.The magazine contains a numberof articles, interviews and information including:

An interview with Hetton Health and Fitness centre Manager.

An interview with Callum Quarby who is a Hetton School student hoping to develop a career in boxing.

The Top 10 Cars
The Top Ten Consoles

The students enjoyed producing the magazine and developed photography skills, interview techniques, working as a team and problem solving.

They also had lots of fun!!
